Who we are
Printerials is a catalogue of 3D printing materials and printers, operated by Enkodo. You can reach us at [email protected]. Our full name, address and registration number are on the imprint.
Browsing the catalogue
You can browse materials, printers and brands without an account. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share data with third parties for marketing.
Accounts
If you create an account, we store the email address you sign up with, a hashed version of your password (we never store the password itself), and the username on your profile. If you use the inventory features we also store the materials and printers you add, and any usage or maintenance records you enter.
We use this data only to operate the service: to sign you in and to show you your own inventory. Your profile is private unless you explicitly make it public.
We send e-mail only about your own account: confirming your address, resetting your password. These messages are delivered by Lettermint, a transactional e-mail provider in the European Union, which processes your address and the message on our behalf. We send no newsletters and no marketing.
Links to shops
Prices link to the shop that sells the product. Some of those links are affiliate links: if you buy something after following one, we may receive a commission from that shop. This never affects which prices we show or the order they are shown in — the parameters that do decide it are set out on how we rank offers. Following such a link takes you to the shop, which then processes your visit under its own privacy policy; we do not pass any data about you along with it.
We do count that a link was followed, on our own server. Each record holds the offer, the shop, the kind of page it was followed from and what prompted it — and nothing that identifies you: no account, no IP address, no browser fingerprint, no cookie. It exists so we can tell which shops and which features are worth keeping, which is a legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Since no personal data is recorded, there is nothing in it to access, correct or erase.
Cookies and local storage
We use storage in your browser to keep you signed in. We do not set analytics or advertising cookies. See our cookie statement for details.
Images
Product images are served from our object storage. Requesting them involves your browser connecting to that storage host, which processes your IP address as part of delivering the file.
Retention
Account data is kept for as long as your account exists. Ask us to delete your account and we will remove your account and inventory data.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to your data, correction, deletion, or a copy in a portable format, and you can object to processing. Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
